Dear Uncle Dixer: I have a Northwest facing house, and I would like to place a water feature outside my door. Is this a good idea as I read somewhere that you should not do this in the Northwest?
Answer: The reason behind not to place water in the Northwest is that the Northwest is correlated to the Metal Phase and water can weaken it.
However, if the water feature you have in mind is not a huge one, and you have an open space to work with, then I don’t think it will be an issue.
