Dear Uncle Dixer: Is it good to have a fish tank in my room?
Answer: I assume when you say your room, you mean your bedroom or a room you sleep in.
From a Five-Phase relationship point of view, to sleep well we need calmness and stability and that is associated with Earth.
Water, represented by a fish tank, tends to fight with Earth and that is considered undesirable.
But if your fish tank is only a small one, then the Earth can easily control the Water, and that would be acceptable. But if your tank is a large one and have a large number of fishes in it, like watching a TV screen being turned on all the time, then that is not a good idea. It creates too much disturbance for a good night’s rest.
