Dear Uncle Dixer: I have a south facing house and door. When using bagua map, do I place the map matching south or career squadron as south?
Answer: Since you mentioned the Bagua map, I assume you meant the new-age 3-Door Bagua method invented by Prof. Lin Yun in the 80s and not the traditional Eight House or Bazhai (Eight Mansions) method used in Classical Feng Shui.
If that is the case, then it does not matter which direction the door faces. Just put it on the bottom of the Bagua map and you can read it from left to right and top to bottom the following human longings:
Wealth/Power, Fame/Reputation, Love/Marriage
Family, Health/Wellbeing, Children/Creativity
Growth/Knowledge, Career/Work, Travel/Helpful People.
