Dear Uncle Dixer: Is it ok to have the comfort room (restroom) door face the side of the stove?
Answer: Whether is it good or not depends on what is directly behind the door.
If a person can see the restroom when the door is open, then it is not desirable. But if the restroom is hidden then it is more acceptable. The Feng Shui rule used here is that the Fire and the Water should not face each other in a straight line to avoid “Chong Sha” or “Rushing-at Sha Qi” (Qi that cancels each other).
