Dear Uncle Dixer: All the cabinets in my kitchen have a very small space between the top of cabinet and ceiling. I’ve read that I’m supposed to put plants there to improve chi flow, but no plants would fit.
What should I do with that space to improve kitchen Feng Shui? The space has a height of about 3 to 4 inches.
Answer: If you only have 3 to 4 inches of space and want to improve the Chi flow, but don’t have enough height to put some plants there, then the next best thing to improve Chi flow would be to clean the top of the cabinet at least once every 3 months so it would not collect too much dust.
While doing it, you can put 9 silver coins there and that would provide you with a Jie Hua cure to enhance the flow of Chi at the same time. 9 is the most Yang number of the 10 digits and is considered an auspicious. It is an emperor’s number to the Chinese and hopefully it can fulfil your wish for better Chi flow.
