Dear Uncle Dixer: Our current front door opens inwards. We are now considering adding a security door outside of main door for safety. According to structure, that additional door will have to open outwards. (e.g. like the houses that we see in Taiwan that has 2 layers of doors). As Feng Shui doesn’t recommend door open outwards, can you please suggest what we should do? Thanks.
Answer: Door opening outwards is fine, especially if it is only a secondary security door. Just make sure that there is enough room so people don’t bump into the outward opening one.
