Hi Victor,

Thank you for all the work that you do and the knowledge which you share regarding feng shui and it’s many components and variables. After reading through this article I have a few questions regarding my mirror placement in my apartment.

My stove is located in the South sector of my home, the stove itself is facing Southeast/South. I have a mirror hung on the West wall of the hallway, it faces East and reflects parts of the kitchen. The stove and the mirror are almost perpendicular to each other. When I am standing in the kitchen cooking and looking at the mirror it does not reflect the stove at all, but when I walk North to South or South to North in the hallway passing the mirror, it definitely reflects the stove from both those angles.

Should I remove this mirror as it is not recommended to have any mirrors reflecting a stove? Or can I leave the mirror considering it only reflects the stove from certain angles and not at angles where I am sitting for any long periods of time. The only reason I am partial to even keeping the mirror in this position is because I feel it really opens up that space on the hallway creating more light due to the mirror also reflecting a Eastern/South eastern view of buildings, trees and a little bit of a water view in the solarium located next to the kitchen.

Please let me know your thoughts, any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi victor my place is small i would like to put wooden square mirror infront of dining but it will also reflects kitchen bench ( where most often my family eat ) but behind it about 2.5 meters is a stove Or should i put it on the wall facing the dining table which is infront of sliding back glass door ( beautiful outside pool can be seen) thanks

Great info.
I would like to hang a large mirror over the buffet in the dining room. There is a window directly across the room which is the front of the house but it is a smaller than normal window. There is a rather large high bluff on the other side of the street from my house, so no construction at all. Just vegetation and trees. Do you think that would be okay? Or would I need to hang it on the side wall where it would face the living room?

Hi Victor,
My home is MCM style, which means I have a long entry way with the front door placed on the right hand side at the end of the hallway, so one has to make a turn to come inside. Do you think putting a mirror on the wall at the end of that entry way could work? It won’t face the front door, but rather the garden and driveway that’s in front of my home. I hope this makes sense.

Yes, mirror facing garage door is fine if it doesn’t bother anyone.
